For group tracing, can you clarify that it is required that all students test between days 3-5.

Last time on the call, if we are short staffed we are exempt of tracing on SPOT. Is that still the expectation? What is the newest guideline?

what if a household member is positive for Covid and the student is isolated when the symptoms begin, and the member (relative other than parent) and is fully vaccinated 6 months ago can they return to work? the work is a school

If we hold an event indoors in a big room with multiple classrooms, classes would be seated separately, would all classes have to test if one kid is positive, since they are sharing an indoor space. That is if we are using the new group tracing model.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before: if we are requiring students to show proof of a negative prior to returning to school, is it acceptable to receive it at anytime even though some home tests can only be read within a small time frame before results become inaccurate. I'm sure we can't expect parents to drive their child's negative test to the school immediately the results don't degrade. Hopefully that made sense.

The guidance FAQs says that we do not need to track the testing with the group tracing. Can you clarify? Are we tracking testing for group tracing?

You don't have to track the results, but we do want you to that people got tested in this method/group tracking.

The grid states that students/staff is previous lab confirmed COVID in past 90 days do not need to quarantine. With the lack of availability of lab testing over the winter break, are we able to accept reported home test reports of COVID to exempt these students/staff?

I think given the large number of cases and home test use, that it is appropriate to use home test as a marker given you have the records of this +
